Since 1978, Guided Discoveries has been helping children grow through unique opportunities for discovery. Across every program—on land, at sea, and in the stars—our mission remains the same: to make a difference in the lives of children through hands-on learning, adventure, and community.

Catalina Sea Camp: Discover the Ocean
At Catalina Sea Camp, campers dive into a world of marine science, adventure, and ocean conservation. Through snorkeling, scuba diving, and hands-on labs, they explore underwater ecosystems and gain a deep respect for the natural world.

AstroCamp: Reach for the Stars
High in the mountains above Palm Springs, AstroCamp combines science, adventure, and teamwork. Campers build rockets, study astronomy, and climb to new heights on ropes courses—all while learning to think critically and collaborate creatively.
It’s where curiosity turns into confidence, and learning becomes an adventure among the stars.
Camp CHOP: Cook Up Confidence
At Camp CHOP, culinary exploration meets camp camaraderie. Campers learn to chop, sauté, and create meals while discovering the joy of teamwork and creativity. Whether preparing a group meal or experimenting with flavors, they develop life skills that go far beyond the kitchen.
Cooking becomes a metaphor for growth: try, taste, learn, and try again.
